Summary of the operations of our facilities – 2023. 👇👇👇
The year 2023 was a year where a lot was happening in our Shelter. Not only in terms of accommodation, but also in terms of art, marketing, renovation. 
It’s time for a quick recap…
We provided accommodation for nearly 10,000 people, We are trusted by almost 200 organized groups, most are our regulars, sports groups, students, scouts, youth exchanges, pilgrimages, bicycle tours, We have refurbished most of the rooms in the Shelter on ul. Kosciuszko 72/74, we purchased murals with images of our beautiful city, the interiors were warmed up with numerous accessories, We have improved the comfort of some of the rooms in the Relaks Hostel on ul. Soldierska 13 b, by painting, replacing new carpets, We replaced the floor in the reception hall, In the parking lot in front of the main entrance to Hostel Relaks, we replaced the asphalt improving the safety of our guests, We organized 4 art exhibitions showing the beauty and tradition of our region, we did not forget the Copernican Year, to which 2 expositions were also dedicated, Our staff acted vigorously in marketing promoting the School Youth Hostel in Olsztyn
at many fairs, conferences in the country, including the International Tourist Fair in Warsaw and Tour Salon – the fair of regions and tourist products in Poznan,
we are an active partner of the action Visit Olsztyn

Another exhibition behind us !
On January 31, 2024, Our Shelter hosted another exhibition, this time dedicated to Ukraine. The exhibition and, in fact, two exhibitions showed completely different and contrasting images of Ukraine. Photographs taken by alumni of the Olsztyn Youth Palace depicted the idyllic, colorful, still peaceful Ukraine of 2019. In turn, the photographs we received courtesy of Mr. Stefan Migus Chairman of the Olsztyn Branch of the Union of Ukrainians in Poland showed Ukraine on the battlefield at the time. It turned out to be a remarkable coincidence that the photos from the front were taken by Ukrainian photographer and war correspondent Oleksandr Kharvat, who also participated in the 2019 photo plein air of the alumni of the photography club
