TOUR SALON- POZNAŃ 2023

On 27-29/10/2023. The Tour Salon trade fair of tourist regions and products was held in Poznań. Among the exhibitors there was also us. Our staff proudly presented the offer of our Olsztyn facilities, the region and the tourist attractions of Warmia and Mazury. Together with representatives of other Youth Hostels, we promoted what is best for the tourist, i.e. good accommodation at a good price. We strongly encourage you to use the accommodation base of School Youth Hostels in Poland.

Report on the opening of the exhibition of works !

The time for the exhibition has come, beautiful works performed by the wards of the Olsztyn Youth Palace and children from Kaunas swept into the hall. There was no shortage of visitors, on the projector you could watch a film of the entire creative process of the young artists and after the tour enjoy something sweet. We would like to thank very much for coming Our friends, the Directorate of the Youth Palace together with teachers and alumni, the Directorate of the Special School and Educational Center in Olsztyn, the Directorate of the Fairy Tale House Kindergarten, a representative of the Municipal Police and the Directorate and staff of the School Youth Hostel in Olsztyn. Special thanks and appreciation to the authors of the works presented at the exhibition, the parents for supporting the young artists, who proudly admired the works of their children, and especially to Ms. Iwona Lazicka-Pawlak, without whom the whole project would not have taken place.

New rooms in Facility 1 !

Dear Guests, we are changing for you !!! The hostel at 72/74 Kosciuszki Street has undergone a small metamorphosis of several rooms. In the spirit of local patriotism on the walls there are beautiful wall murals depicting Olsztyn from a bird’s eye view, the Old Town Street at night, Lake Ukiel and the panorama of Olsztyn. We hope that the photographs will make your stay more pleasant and encourage you to visit the city. On April 19, an exhibition of author’s photos by Mr. Wojciech Bartosik was held at our shelter. Courtesy of the author, we are pleased to donate for auction 8 photographs showing the fauna and flora of the Warmian region from a slightly “closer perspective”. We encourage all lovers of photography and more to bid. As part of the auction you will receive all the developed photos in 20 cm x 30 cm format. The auction will end on 11.05 at. 21.
