Important additional information

  1. Discounts
  • Persons holding valid student, teacher and loyalty cards enjoy a discount upon presentation of a valid document on the day of arrival at the facility. In the case of a prepaid stay, if the Guest does not show the required document, he will be obliged to pay the difference to the full price for the room/place.

Attention !
Those entitled to discounts make payment for their stay in cash or by credit card directly at the reception desk on the day of arrival.

  • The discount granted does not add up to other discounts.

2 Fees

  • Local fee of PLN 2.80 /day / person, applicable for stays of more than one day, payable only in cash on arrival at the facility,
  • Unguarded, monitored parking – extra charge,
  • Surcharge for bedding in the amount of PLN 12 per bed for the first night in Ob. No. 1 at ul. Kosciuszko 72/74 and for organized groups at facility 1 and 2 on Kosciuszko Street. Soldier Street 13b,
  • Possibility to enjoy breakfast in the form of catering for an additional fee.

3. cancellation conditions
The reservation can be canceled at no cost.
No later than 2 days before the scheduled arrival.
In case of cancellation after this date or failure to show up at the property on the day of arrival, the property may charge the guest for the first night.

 


Regulations of the School Youth Hostel in Olsztyn – Facility No. 1 at ul. Kościuszki 72/74

  1. The right to use the School Youth Hostel in Olsztyn in the facility No. 1 at ul. Kosciuszko 72/74 is available to school and student youth, teachers and educators, and members of the Polish Youth Hostel Association, as well as foreigners belonging to the parent associations of Youth Hostels. Accommodation at the hostel, in case of vacancies, may also be used by other persons, provided that the applicable rules and regulations are observed. a. Schoolchildren under the age of 18 may be admitted to the hostel upon presentation of an accommodation order (with address and telephone contact), signed by their parents or legal guardians.
  2. Individual tourists are accepted for overnight stays directly at the hostel if there are vacancies, with priority given to school and college students, followed by others.
  3. A day’s stay at the hostel lasts from hrs. 1200 to hrs. 1000 the following day.
  4. The Shelter’s doors are locked at hrs. 2200 and opened after600 hours.
  5. The hostel has a curfew from 2200 to600. Disturbing the quiet of the night may be grounds for removal from the facility. Deviations from the established hours of curfew are possible only in exceptional cases with the approval of the Shelter Director. The receptionist, for security reasons, has the right to refuse to open the facility from 2300600
  6. Smoking tobacco and electronic cigarettes, drinking alcohol, using intoxicants, gambling is categorically prohibited on the premises of the Shelter under pain of removal from the Shelter. Smoking is allowed only in the place designated by the Director, outside the Hostel.
  7. The hostel is not responsible for items left in the room and for vehicles parked in the unguarded paid parking lot next to the building.
  8. The Shelter is responsible only for valuables and money placed on deposit at the Shelter.
  9. Persons who have had an infectious disease are not allowed to use the Shelter during the quarantine period.
  10. Tour bookings are qualified on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to school and student teams.
  11. Groups of schoolchildren may be admitted for overnight stays only under the supervision of an adult guardian, who is fully responsible for the school group and for the youth’s compliance with these regulations.
  12. The group’s chaperone collects the condition of the sleeping rooms from the receptionist before check-in, and at the end of the stay, reports the condition of the sleeping rooms to the receptionist.
  13. Guests using overnight accommodation are registered in the registration records of the Hostel, provide an identity document or an ID card entitling them to a discount, and pay the fees due, according to the price list posted in the Hostel in a conspicuous place. The lodging fee is collected at check-in.
  14. It is possible to stay at the hostel for three nights. Extension of the stay may be made only with the approval of the Director.
  15. Preparation of meals may be carried out at the place designated by the Shelter Director. After eating, wash the kitchen utensils and clean the kitchen thoroughly.
  16. The tour group leader or the individual tourist is responsible for any damage to items owned by the hostel. The Director of the Shelter shall determine the amount of compensation or method of payment for the damage caused.
  17. Guests using the accommodation are obliged to behave appropriately and culturally towards the Hostel staff and people staying at the Hostel. The receptionist on duty/manager of the facility has the right to refuse entry to or remove from the facility persons who do not comply with the rules and regulations, are aggressive, under the influence of alcohol, intoxicants or otherwise violate the rules of cultural behavior, in particular when they violate bodily integrity, insult, insult or intrusively impose themselves on other persons in any way, as well as when they do not have appropriate clothing. In such cases, the accommodation fee is not refundable. Admission to the Shelter may also be denied if the person using the accommodation, while previously staying at the Shelter, has violated the rules and regulations, in particular, caused damage to the property of the Shelter or guests, or damage to guests, employees of the Shelter or other persons staying at the Shelter.
  18. Users of the Shelter may enter all positive and negative remarks in the Shelter’s book of wishes and complaints or, in important cases, direct them to the locally competent local administration.
  19. For complaints and requests, the director of the Shelter accepts complaints and requests every Monday from 8:00- 10 :00-at the premises of the Shelter at ul. Soldierska 13b in Olsztyn.
  20. In case of non-compliance with the rules and regulations, the Hostel is obliged to inform: School Directorate of the school group, Rector’s Office of the university of the student group, District Police Station.
  21. The shelter in Olsztyn on ul. Kosciuszko 72/74 is a permanent Shelter, open all year round except for a break from December 24 to January 1 and a three-day break during the Easter holiday.
  22. In all matters not included in the rules and regulations, but concerning the course of life in the Shelter, such as ensuring order, protection of property, observance of cultural rules, etc., the users of the Shelter are obliged to follow the instructions of the Shelter director.

Signing the registration card is tantamount to a commitment to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the School Youth Hostel in Olsztyn – object No. 1 at ul. Kosciuszko 72/74.
